Project Manager II
Job Summary
Our client, a leading telecommunications organization, is seeking a Project Manager to support Billing Strategy & Design initiatives. This role is responsible for managing projects and systems that support business-as-usual (BAU) operations, overseeing the full project lifecycle from initiation through implementation. The ideal candidate has experience leading cross-functional projects, managing project documentation and reporting, coordinating stakeholders, and driving project execution within Agile or Scrum environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from project definition, planning, and execution through implementation and closure
- Lead project meetings, stakeholder discussions, and ad hoc communications to drive project progress and decision-making
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution
- Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and quality metrics to ensure project objectives are achieved
- Provide day-to-day direction and coordination for project resources and cross-functional teams
- Establish and maintain effective communication plans with stakeholders, business partners, and project teams
- Manage project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, action items, and executive updates
- Maintain accurate project information, workflows, and task tracking within Jira
- Facilitate change management activities and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate follow-up activities, task assignments, and issue resolution through email, instant messaging, and project management tools
- Support administrative project functions, including scheduling meetings, organizing project materials, and participating in governance and operational reviews
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- 5+ years of Project Management experience leading cross-functional business and technology initiatives
- Experience managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and implementation
- Hands-on experience with Jira for project tracking, workflow management, and status reporting
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience preparing project documentation, status reports, executive communications, and meeting materials
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and project delivery methodologies
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project environments
- Strong organizational, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Telecommunications or cable industry experience
- Experience supporting billing, customer operations, or business operations initiatives
- PMP, CAPM, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar project management certification
- Experience working with large enterprise project portfolios and governance processes
- Familiarity with project budgeting, resource planning, and risk management practices

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $37.00 and $54.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
