Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation (CDM) Team Lead
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation (CDM) Team Lead to join their team! This position is located in Bethesda, Maryland.
Duties:
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, analysts, and integrators in executing CDM program objectives
- Oversee the planning, deployment, and sustainment of CDM tools and dashboards to improve visibility of assets, vulnerabilities, and security posture
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders to align CDM implementations with agency cybersecurity requirements
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and risks while ensuring compliance with DHS CDM guidelines
- Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations on CDM data insights and operational performance
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and program leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability across all workstreams
- Mentor team members, promoting skill development and operational excellence within the cybersecurity program
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience leading the implementation of CDM program capabilities
- 3+ years of highly relevant expertise derived from working directly in support of an agency-level CDM program
- Demonstrated leadership in federal cybersecurity programs
- Familiarity with DHS CDM tools, architecture, and reporting requirements
- Strong understanding of federal information security frameworks: NIST RMF, FISMA
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills
- CISSP certification required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required

The approximate pay range for this position is between $77.00 and $110.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
