Senior Project Manager
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team! This position is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Denver, Colorado.
Duties:
- Oversee multiple delivery project teams, supporting on schedule and on budget delivery to approved scope
- Define controls to effectively manage program activities and delivery expectations
- Contribute to portfolio budget performance against approved capital plan
- Plan and monitor project progress to ensure milestones are being met
- Manage daily activities through life cycle of the project
- Manage resources across projects
- Manage project risks and issues and take measures to mitigate appropriately
- Coordinate projects and the interdependencies between projects and workstreams
- Manage stakeholders involved in the projects and program
- Align deliverables across the projects and program
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 10+ years of project management experience with large and complex projects, with management of projects up to $10 million or more
- Extensive experience in the utility industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory, operational, and infrastructure environments
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-level software implementations, from planning through deployment and stabilization
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, including requirements gathering, design, development/configuration, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
- Strong vendor management skills, including oversight of the RFP process, development of statements of work (SOWs), financial tracking, and driving vendor performance to meet scope, schedule, and budget targets
- Experience managing projects impacting 200+ end users, with accountability for organizational change management and user adoption
- In-depth knowledge of budget planning, tracking, and resource allocation
- Proficient in accrual-based accounting and financial forecasting for capital and O&M expenditures
- Well-versed in both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies, with flexibility to tailor approaches based on project needs

The approximate pay range for this position is between $52.00 and $75.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
