Senior Project Manager
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, MO or Denver, CO.
Duties:
- Lead technology projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified requirements
- Manage the full project lifecycle for 5-6 concurrent, complex projects
- Work with a "10-foot view" perspective, diving deep into technical details to understand system architecture, API functionality, and cloud-based implementations
- Serve as the technical go-to person, understanding system concepts and capabilities better than high-level stakeholders
- Engage with development teams to identify unrealistic timelines or technical blockages and align genuine project velocity
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and communicate project status to stakeholders
- Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, testers, and business analysts
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and changes to project scope
- Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies such as: Agile and Scrum
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management tools such as: JIRA and Microsoft Project

The approximate pay range for this position is between $55.00 and $65.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
