Lead Project Manager

Job Summary 
Our client is seeking a Lead Project Manager to join their team! This position is located Hybrid in Richmond or McLean, Virginia.
  
Core Responsibilities 

• Act as the primary liaison between Product and Tech teams to ensure alignment, execution, and delivery across multiple stakeholders
• Coordinate and run project ceremonies such as standups and status updates
• Capture notes, track decisions, and ensure clear ownership of action items
• Follow up and drive accountability across stakeholders
• Manage project documentation and trackers using Google Suite tools 
• Support migration and conversion events, including occasional weekend coverage 
• Identify risks, escalate issues appropriately, and help resolve blockers
• Partner with Technical Program Managers and Product teams to ensure overall project alignment
• Bring structure to ambiguous situations and recommend process improvements

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years of Project or Process Management experience for Senior Associate level or 5+ years of experience for Principal Associate level
• Experience working across cross-functional teams involving business and technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational and action-tracking skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience working with or presenting to senior leadership
• Proficiency in Google Suite 

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) 

• Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments 
• Familiarity with JIRA 
• Certifications such as PMP, Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma 
• Background supporting large-scale migrations or system conversions 
• Experience managing vendors or external partners 
• Ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage tension within teams
• Comfortable with ambiguity and change management
• Willingness to support weekend migration events as needed

Compensation & Benefits 

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $65.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
