Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their team! This position is located in Cupertino, California.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day program coordination across multiple Data Platform workstreams
- Partner with engineering, product, and architecture teams to drive delivery of Databricks and Snowflake initiatives
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, roadmaps, milestones, and dependency tracking
- Facilitate status meetings, program reviews, and stakeholder forums
- Track risks, issues, decisions, and mitigation plans across initiatives
- Prepare executive-level status reporting and communications for senior leadership
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Development, Infrastructure, Security, Risk, and Operations
- Support enterprise rollout planning, adoption, and governance activities
- Monitor program health, resource utilization, and delivery timelines
- Drive accountability and alignment across stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of strategic outcomes
- Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identify resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
- Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
- Apply methodology and enforces project standards
- Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
- Minimize exposure and risk on project
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Define, plan and implement the goals and milestones associated with all application development or system projects
- Oversee the analysis, design, execution and support of all assigned projects, including resource planning, team selection, performance appraisals, and budgets
- Perform the usage of a standardized project management methodology to guide all projects in a consistent, organized and reliable manner
- 7+ years of program or project management experience supporting technology organizations
- Experience facilitating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Architecture, Product, and Security
- Experience supporting large-scale Data Platform, Cloud, or Enterprise Technology initiatives
- Strong risk, dependency, issue, and milestone management skills
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Certification PMP, CPM
- Databricks implementation or migration programs
- Snowflake platform deployments
- Azure cloud initiatives
- Enterprise Data & AI platforms
- Large-scale technology transformation programs
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Cross Functional Team Management
- Location: Cupertino, California
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $65.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
