Job Summary
Our client, a major U.S. airline, is looking for an IT Product Manager with strong analyst skills to support their CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) platform, 26 week contract, fully remote. This person will gather and document business and technical requirements, analyze current authentication workflows, and map user journeys for login, registration, password management, and MFA across digital channels, working closely with developers, QA, and other project managers to bring the CIAM solution to life. Looking for someone with real experience writing user stories on an identity or authentication project specifically, comfortable working cross-functionally and translating business needs into clear requirements.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Core Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements for the CIAM platform
- Analyze existing authentication and authorization workflows and identify improvement opportunities
- Map user journeys and define use cases for login, registration, password management, and MFA
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and tested
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, escalating when necessary
- Support UAT and provide documentation/training to business users and support teams
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a business or product analyst, preferably with identity management or digital authentication projects
- Strong understanding of CIAM concepts and security protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect)
- Understanding of Identity Provider platforms, MFA policy design, and adaptive/risk-based authentication strategies
- Foundational working knowledge of Splunk and SQL for querying, analyzing, and reporting
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience working in agile project environments

- Comfortable writing detailed, clear requirements that hold up with technical teams
- Strong translator between business needs and technical implementation
- Works well across multidisciplinary teams including developers, QA, and project managers
- Detail-oriented and analytical, able to identify gaps and risks early
- Can manage multiple requirements streams and shifting priorities without losing accuracy
Work Environment
- Location: Chicago, IL 60606, fully remote, preferred hours 9-5pm CST with flexibility
- Contract runs 26 weeks, no conversion to full time at this time
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $44.00 and $64.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
