Project Manager II

Job Summary
Our client, a leading communications provider, is seeking a Project Manager II to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, and cost while partnering with technical teams to oversee network hardware deployments, drive executive reporting, and ensure successful project execution in a fast-paced environment.

This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and control all aspects of project delivery (managing the triple constraint of scope, schedule, and cost).
• Coordinate with IT delivery teams to manage project scope and schedule.
• Oversee scheduling for physical infrastructure installations, specifically involving routers, switches, hardware, and wireless field deployments.
• Drive executive status reporting and maintain high-quality, timely delivery of projects.
• Anticipate business customer needs and issues by understanding underlying business drivers.
• Critically analyze business situations and develop effective solutions.
• Organize and manage tasks and requests in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• PMP certification or Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher)
• 5+ years of overall professional experience
• 4+ years of practical project management experience having full responsibility for project delivery and management
• Solid hands-on background in IT Infrastructure, including network infrastructure (hardware, switches, routers, and wireless field installs)
• Strong command of project management fundamentals and the ability to manage the triple constraint
• Proficiency with project management tools and techniques (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project)

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Proven experience with Microsoft Project (MSP)
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile)
• Background supporting Network / Servers, IT support, and application maintenance

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $36.00 and $52.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
