Job Summary
Our client, a leading airline company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and successfully deliver key client projects from initiation through completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing timelines, budgets, and scope, and ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule and aligned with business objectives. This role will oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including establishing deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring progress, identifying potential risks or issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to keep projects on track. The Project Manager will also prepare and present regular project status reports and updates to senior leadership, providing clear visibility into project progress, milestones, risks, and overall performance.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Use and continually develop leadership skills
- Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document need
- Degree in Business Management or other related discipline
- Enterprise IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
- Enterprise Service Management
- Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Configuration Management
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled productivity tools
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certifications
- Proven working experience in project management
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Infrastructure lifecycle management
- Software Asset Management (SAM)
- Asset governance and compliance
- Procurement and vendor lifecycle management
- Location: Chicago, IL
- ONSITE
- Contract: 6 months
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $52.00 and $75.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
