Project Manager

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team! This position is located in Chicago, Illinois.  
 
Duties:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closeout
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics aligned with business and technology strategies
• Partner with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to coordinate resources, schedules, and deliverables
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions by analyzing organizational needs, trends, and emerging best practices
• Oversee system implementations and conduct post-implementation reviews and audits to ensure project objectives are met
• Ensure adherence to information security, disaster recovery, and backup standards across all technology initiatives
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecast resource requirements, track expenditures, and address variances
• Identify project risks and issues early, implementing mitigation strategies and corrective actions as needed
• Establish and enforce project governance, quality standards, and documentation practices
• Provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders through status reports, dashboards, and executive updates
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve project delivery

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience managing IT projects, including software development, infrastructure, or enterprise system implementations
• Strong background collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

The approximate pay range for this position is between $53.00 and $76.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
