You will drive execution, governance, and delivery of complex technology initiatives across Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Services, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, and Application Development organizations, coordinating large-scale transformation programs, managing cross-functional dependencies, and supporting Secure by Design, infrastructure modernization, cyber resilience, and AI readiness initiatives.

Our client, a leading airline industry provider, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their Platform Engineering & Secure by Design organization. You will drive execution, governance, and delivery of complex technology initiatives across Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Services, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, and Application Development organizations, coordinating large-scale transformation programs, managing cross-functional dependencies, and supporting Secure by Design, infrastructure modernization, cyber resilience, and AI readiness initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead complex, cross-functional technology programs from initiation through implementation and operationalization, developing integrated program plans, roadmaps, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate strategic initiatives across enterprise infrastructure platforms, cloud services, identity services, networking, automation, and observability platforms
- Coordinate implementation activities for Secure by Design initiatives, including threat modeling, security scanning, platform hardening, and DevSecOps-related programs
- Track remediation activities associated with vulnerability management, exposure reduction, and cyber risk initiatives
- Coordinate initiatives involving AI governance, AI adoption, and emerging technology risk management, tracking related dependencies, risks, and compliance activities
- Identify, manage, and resolve program dependencies, risks, issues, and blockers, establishing governance mechanisms that provide transparency into program health and delivery status
- Develop executive-ready communications, status reports, dashboards, and governance materials, facilitating steering committees and cross-functional governance forums
- 8+ years of experience leading large-scale technology programs
- 5+ years supporting infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, cloud engineering, enterprise architecture, or enterprise technology organizations
- Demonstrated success managing complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple technical disciplines and driving execution without direct authority in matrixed organizations
- Experience supporting executive-level governance, reporting, and decision-making processes
- Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure platforms, cloud computing, virtualization, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation
- Working knowledge of Secure by Design principles, Secure SDLC, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps practices
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent program management certification
- Experience supporting cybersecurity transformation and large-scale infrastructure modernization programs
- Experience coordinating enterprise-wide Secure by Design initiatives, partnering with Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security organizations
- Experience supporting AI governance, AI risk management, or AI adoption programs
- Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and risk management frameworks
- Experience supporting geographically distributed engineering organizations
- Exceptional program execution discipline, with strong operational excellence and follow-through
- Superior risk, issue, and dependency management across parallel workstreams
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into actionable decisions
- Ability to influence without formal authority, building trust with both technical teams and senior leadership
- Calm, structured, and detail-oriented under pressure, with a bias toward continuous improvement
- Location: Fort Worth, TX
- Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday and Friday
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $35.00 and $50.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
