Our client, a leading entertainment and media provider, is seeking a Project Manager – Finance & Accounting to join their Content Production and Distribution Global Program Management team. This role will support finance and accounting software delivery projects from planning through execution and closure.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Our client, a leading entertainment and media provider, is seeking a Project Manager – Finance & Accounting to join their Content Production and Distribution Global Program Management team. This role will support finance and accounting software delivery projects from planning through execution and closure.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.
Contract Details
- Contract duration: 4 months – 8/26/2026 to 1/2/2027
- Work location: Bristol, Connecticut / Hybrid on site
- Location preference: Bristol, CT preferred; Los Angeles/Glendale area is also considered
- Work schedule: Flexible to work East or West Coast hours and outside regular business hours when needed
- Manage software development projects from initiation through closure
- Create and maintain project plans, communication plans, risks/issues, and project documentation
- Lead Agile and Scrum-based project teams through successful software delivery
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, timelines, and escalations
- Communicate project health, issues, risks, and updates to technical and business stakeholders, including executives
- Facilitate meetings and workshops, drive participation, and ensure actionable outcomes
- Lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders toward business processes and technical solutions
- 5+ years of technical program management and software application development experience
- Project Management experience leading cross-functional Agile teams
- Experience with Jira and Confluence supporting Agile methodologies
- Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience leading projects involving software systems/workflows requiring SOX compliance
- SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) experience
- Familiarity with finance and revenue-related systems and associated compliance requirements
- Experience working with and influencing technical and business stakeholders without direct authority
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements surrounding those systems
- Advanced knowledge of Jira/Confluence and the Atlassian Suite
- Experience with modern software development tools and processes
- Experience with Airtable and Smartsheet
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and standard Microsoft Office tools
- Experience leading Accounting and Payments software systems projects
- Experience with AI tools used to support software development delivery, business reporting, and metrics
- Experience adapting to rapid technology and innovation changes
- Concise and deliberate communication
- Strong stakeholder management and influence without direct authority
- Strong facilitation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple dependencies, risks, and priorities
- Adaptability in a changing technology environment
- Location: Bristol, Connecticut
- Onsite, Hybrid or Remote: Hybrid
- May require flexibility to work across East and West Coast hours and outside regular business hours for important meetings
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $58.00 and $83.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
