Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Writer/Editor to support its digital content marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing SEO- and GEO-focused content related to credit cards, credit education, and personal finance topics. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented content professional with strong writing, editing, research, fact-checking, and communication skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Write SEO-driven blog articles and other marketing copy as needed
- Edit long-form digital content for grammar, spelling, AP style, tone, and brand standards
- Fact-check content and ensure compliance with legal, SEO, and quality requirements
- Maintain a high standard of editorial accuracy and content quality
- Research topics and incorporate feedback from creative directors and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support content marketing initiatives
- Ensure content aligns with digital marketing best practices and brand objectives
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- 5+ years of professional writing and editing experience
- 3+ years of digital content experience
- Strong knowledge of AP Style and content editing best practices
- Experience creating SEO-focused content
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to tactically and strategically communicate recommendations and defend editing decisions
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced corporate marketing environment
- Experience within a regulated industry such as financial services or healthcare
- Experience writing and editing for SEO and web-specific constructs
- Familiarity with ADA compliance and mobile UX best practices
- Experience producing content related to credit, personal finance, or financial education

Work Environment

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $22.00 and $32.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
