Benefits and Leave Admin
Job Summary
Our client, a leading technology provider, is seeking a Benefits & Leave Administration Professional to join their team! This is a 7-month contract through April, 2027, supporting US benefits programs and leave of absence administration. This position is fully remote within the United States, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. This role is a leave backfill and is not anticipated to convert to a full-time position.
Core Responsibilities
- Administer leave of absence requests, ensuring accurate processing, timely communication, and compliance with applicable policies and laws
- Manage and resolve employee benefits inquiries and tickets related to eligibility, plan details, claims status, and leave administration
- Maintain accurate employee benefits records, eligibility data, and documentation within benefits and HRIS systems
- Coordinate with medical, pharmacy, retirement, and other benefits vendors to resolve claims and system-related issues
- Support open enrollment activities, including employee communications, collateral distribution, and vendor coordination
- Prepare benefits reports, summaries, and compliance documentation and support adherence to ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, and other applicable requirements
- Assist with benefits implementations, global benefits initiatives, data migration, testing, and other HR-related projects as needed
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- 2+ years of experience in benefits administration and/or leave of absence management
- Hands-on experience administering leave of absence requests and related documentation
- Knowledge of US benefits regulations and compliance requirements, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and FMLA
- Experience using benefits administration systems and HRIS platforms
- Experience responding to and resolving employee benefits inquiries while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain benefits information
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience coordinating directly with medical, pharmacy, retirement, or other benefits vendors
- Experience supporting open enrollment activities and employee communications
- Experience preparing benefits reports, summaries, or compliance documentation
- Experience supporting new benefits plan implementations, data migration, or system testing
- Experience supporting global benefits initiatives or projects
- Experience working across multiple HR functions or international teams

Work Environment
- Location: Remote, must be located within the United States
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, no overtime

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $35.00 and $51.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums
