Our client is seeking an HR Project Manager to join their team! You will work in a remote capacity, ideally located in CST or EST time zone. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience leading large, enterprise HR project initiatives including benefits administration, including health/welfare plans, retirement, disability, leave of absence, spending accounts, annual enrollment, vendor administration, etc.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Our client is seeking an HR Project Manager to join their team! You will work in a remote capacity, ideally located in CST or EST time zone. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience leading large, enterprise HR project initiatives including benefits administration, including health/welfare plans, retirement, disability, leave of absence, spending accounts, annual enrollment, vendor administration, etc.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead benefits and LOA-related projects from initiation through implementation and closeout, including annual enrollment support, vendor changes, plan design updates, compliance updates, process improvements, and system enhancements
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, timelines, RAID logs, action trackers, decision logs, stakeholder maps, implementation plans, and status reports
- Coordinate cross-functional project activities with Benefits, LOA, HR Operations, Payroll, Legal, Finance, Procurement, IT, communications teams, external vendors, and call center partners
- Support project work related to health and welfare plans, disability plans, leave of absence programs, spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement and savings plans, pension plans, and employee benefit administration processes
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure benefit plan rules, standard operating procedures, summary plan documents, regulatory requirements, and internal controls are considered in project planning and execution
- Manage and monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, escalations, and change impacts; proactively recommend mitigation plans and drive resolution of open items
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- 5+ years of project management experience with proven ability to lead cross-functional HR, benefits, LOA, payroll, operations, vendor, or transformation projects from planning through delivery
- Experience in enterprise-level employee benefits administration, including health/welfare plans, retirement plans, disability, leave of absence, spending accounts, annual enrollment, vendor administration, or related HR operations processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including ability to translate complex benefits topics into clear project updates, action plans, leadership summaries, and partner communications

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $61.00 and $88.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
