Job Summary
Our client, a Financial Services provider, is seeking a Human Insights Researcher to join their team.
Contract Details
- Ongoing/Long term contract
- Work Model: 100% Remote
- Location: If local to St. Louis, would like someone onsite 4x a week
Core Responsibilities
- Identify questions the organization should be asking, not just answer questions that are handed to them
- Bring structure to ambiguous and complex problems
- Develop credible evidence and translate it into meaningful insights
- Build relationships with leaders who recognize the value of the function
- Create demand for Human Insights through the quality and relevance of their work
- Demonstrate tangible examples of how research influenced thinking, decisions, priorities, or strategy
- Establish credibility with executive leadership
- Help the organization understand why Human Insights is a valuable capability and where it can have the greatest impact
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Behavioral Science, Market Research, Human Factors, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Human Insights, Behavioral Research, Consumer Research, Market Research, Social Research, Organizational Research, or a closely related discipline
- Strong experience designing and conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop research approaches from ambiguous or loosely defined business questions
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent interviewing, facilitation, synthesis, and research storytelling skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate research findings to senior and executive-level audiences
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience establishing, growing, or championing a Human Insights or research capability within an organization
- Experience working directly with executive leadership
- Experience building internal awareness and adoption of research capabilities
- Experience developing business cases for research investment
- Experience operating in environments where research questions are not clearly defined
- Advanced qualitative research expertise
- Strong quantitative research and analytical capabilities

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $52.00 and $75.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
