Staff/Senior Staff Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary
Our client, a leading power electronics and energy technology provider, is seeking a Staff/Senior Staff Supply Chain Manager to join their team. This role will lead strategic sourcing for critical components and assemblies supporting advanced power conversion technology for renewable energy, energy storage, and large-scale electrical loads.

Core Responsibilities

• Define and own category strategies for key mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical components and assemblies
• Drive achievement of product cost targets through should-cost modeling, market analysis, commodity analysis, and supplier negotiations
• Lead RFx processes and negotiate commercial agreements covering piece pricing, tooling, NRE, and contractual terms
• Assess and mitigate supply chain risks related to capacity, geopolitical factors, logistics, supplier technology, and commercial roadmaps
• Drive supplier readiness across prototype, pilot, and mass-production builds to support successful product scale-up and launches
• Develop and execute logistics and warehousing strategies in partnership with manufacturing and factory operations
• Escalate and resolve key supply, cost, quality, and supplier performance issues through cross-functional corrective action planning

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience
• 8+ years of sourcing or procurement experience supporting high-volume manufacturing
• Strong category knowledge across mechanical, electrical/PCB/PCBA, and/or electro-mechanical components and assemblies
• Demonstrated experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives, RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, Legal, and NPI teams
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing supplier cost, performance, capacity, and risk
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and suppliers
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including on short notice

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience sourcing or managing suppliers for power semiconductors and electronic components
• Experience with injection molding, stamping, sheet metal fabrication, PCB fabrication/assembly, and adhesives
• Supplier development experience supporting medium-voltage or grid-related power electronics
• Familiarity with converters, inverters, switchgear, circuit breakers, dielectric materials, bussing, or related electrical equipment
• Experience supporting new product introduction from prototype through pilot and mass production
• Strong data analysis, cost modeling, and market/commodity analysis skills
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: The approximate base salary range for this position is between $119,000 and $170,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
