Our entertainment and media client is seeking a Product Manager to support Motion Pictures Production systems and workflows. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to drive the development, enhancement, and support of production workflow, production finance, reporting, and business applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product ownership, business analysis, Agile methodologies, and business intelligence tools, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, document, and communicate business requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for the development and maintenance of production workflow and production finance tracking solutions across multiple business units
- Define, groom, prioritize, and accept user stories within Jira for new features, enhancements, and reporting requests
- Perform administrative functions including user access audits, cloud infrastructure maintenance activities, and vendor relationship management
- Collaborate with business analysts, product teams, and application owners to identify data sources and support new system integrations
- Partner with development teams to design dashboards, reports, and visualizations utilizing MicroStrategy and other BI platforms
- Assist in developing product vision, strategy, and roadmap in partnership with leadership and business stakeholders
- Define, track, and report on KPIs that support business objectives and investment decisions
- Communicate project successes, risks, opportunities, and status updates to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Manage a diverse portfolio of applications including vendor solutions, internally developed systems, financial platforms, workflow applications, reporting tools, and emerging technologies
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of business analysis experience within large enterprise environments
- 5+ years of Product Owner or Product Management experience
- 3+ years of experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies
- 3+ years of experience with MicroStrategy (MCE/Cloud preferred) or similar BI platforms
- Strong experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with both technical and business stakeholders
- Knowledge of motion picture or film production processes
- Experience developing or supporting financial dashboards and reporting solutions
- Experience writing and interpreting SQL queries
- Certified Agile Product Owner (CSPO) certification
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications and infrastructure
- Experience managing third-party vendors, contractors, and consultants
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong project planning, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to present complex concepts through clear visualizations and documentation.
- Proactive problem solver with strong critical thinking skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Location: Glendale/Burbank, CA (Onsite 4 days per week)
- Duration: 06/22/2026 – 02/26/2027
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $92.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
