Recruiter (Talent Acquisition Advisor)
Job Summary
Our client, a leading aerospace and defense organization, is seeking a Recruiter (Talent Acquisition Advisor) to support STEM-related hiring initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process across a variety of technical and professional disciplines, partnering closely with hiring managers and business leaders to attract, engage, and hire top talent. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing expertise, experience building candidate pipelines, and the ability to deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Contract Details
- Location: St. Louis, MO
- Contract Length: 26 weeks
- Start Date: October 1, 2026
- End Date: March 31, 2027
- Opportunity for extension or conversion based on performance, business need, and budget approval
- Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination
- Build and maintain proactive candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and talent mapping activities
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify, engage, and attract qualified candidates
- Provide regular updates, market insights, and hiring recommendations to hiring managers and stakeholders
- Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Develop and maintain recruiting documentation, candidate records, and hiring activity within applicant tracking systems
- Partner with Human Resources and business leaders to create job postings and align candidate qualifications with business requirements
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recruiting best practices
- Support recruiting projects, career fairs, networking events, community outreach initiatives, and talent acquisition programs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop creative sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill positions
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 3+ years of professional recruiting experience
- Full-cycle recruiting experience
- Strong sourcing and candidate pipeline development experience
- Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business stakeholders
- Experience using applicant tracking systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Strong business acumen and ability to effectively represent organizational priorities to candidates
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

- Experience recruiting within a large corporate environment
- Experience using Workday as an applicant tracking system

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $28.00 and $40.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
