Job Summary
Our client, a leading media and entertainment provider, is seeking a Chyron Prime Live Graphics Designer to join their team! This position is a 4-month contract and can be performed remotely within the U.S. or onsite in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate is a technical artist with a strong background in live broadcast graphics and deep expertise in Chyron Prime, combining creative design with the technical skills needed to build and deploy production-ready graphics across news, sports, weather, and streaming environments.

This position is a 4-month contract and can be performed remotely within the U.S. or onsite in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate is a technical artist with a strong background in live broadcast graphics and deep expertise in Chyron Prime, combining creative design with the technical skills needed to build and deploy production-ready graphics across news, sports, weather, and streaming environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Build, integrate, and maintain dynamic live broadcast graphics and data-driven templates using Chyron Prime from concept through live playout
- Develop and optimize graphics for live production environments while maintaining technical accuracy and brand standards
- Refine raw designs and creative assets using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects for production-ready broadcast use
- Partner with Art Directors, producers, and stakeholders to rapidly visualize and deploy live on-air elements
- Leverage generative AI tools to support texture creation, conceptual assets, and workflow efficiencies
- Manage multiple creative deliverables under tight live-broadcast deadlines
- Ensure creative assets, including AI-assisted content, comply with copyright requirements and ethical guidelines
- 2+ years of professional experience in live broadcast graphics integration and design
- High proficiency with Chyron Prime, including building and integrating graphics for live broadcast environments
- Hands-on experience with Newsticker and Tricaster
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Demonstrated experience taking graphics from design through technical integration and successful live playout
- Strong technical troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills within live production environments
- Chyron Prime integration reel required for consideration
- Experience with Cinema 4D
- Experience with Unreal Engine
- Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Runway, Gemini, or similar technologies
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for design ideation, asset generation, upscaling, or workflow acceleration
- Experience creating graphics across news, sports, weather, streaming, or other live broadcast environments
- Degree in Design, Broadcast Technology, or a related discipline

- Flexibility to work varying hours or shifts as required by live production needs
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $29.00 and $42.30 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
