Job Summary
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Benefits Specialist to support the administration of employee Health & Welfare and Retirement benefits programs. This role will serve as a key resource for employees, managing benefit-related inquiries and case resolutions while ensuring a high level of accuracy, compliance, and customer service.

Core Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume employee benefit cases involving Health & Welfare and Retirement plans
- Research, track, and resolve employee benefit inquiries accurately and efficiently
- Support administration of medical, dental, vision, 401(k), pension, and deferred compensation programs
- Interpret benefit plans and provide accurate guidance to employees
- Escalate complex or sensitive benefit issues when appropriate
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation within HRIS and case management systems
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries while delivering a positive customer experience
- Partner with HR, payroll, legal, and other stakeholders to resolve benefit-related matters
- Assist with reducing case backlogs and improving service delivery timelines
- Adhere to established processes, service standards, and compliance requirements
- Identify recurring issues, trends, and process improvement opportunities
- Support special projects and peak-volume periods as needed
Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves)
- 5+ years of hands-on employee benefits experience
- Experience managing Health & Welfare and/or Retirement benefit cases in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), pension, and deferred compensation plans
- Demonstrated case management and issue resolution experience
- Strong customer service and employee support skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience utilizing HRIS and case management systems
Preferred Skills & Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience supporting both Health & Welfare and Retirement benefit plans
- Familiarity with 401(k), pension, and deferred compensation programs
- Previous experience in benefits administration or HR shared services environments
- Experience using case management platforms such as Dovetail or similar solutions

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $46.00 and $66.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
