Data Entry Clerk II
Job Summary
Our client, a leading energy provider, is seeking a Data Entry Clerk II to join their team. This role is responsible for accurately entering employee timekeeping information, maintaining records, and supporting documentation retention processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Contract Details
- Duration: September 8, 2026 – November 13, 2026
- Location: Pine Valley, CA
- Work Arrangement: Onsite
- One round of interviews with a 2-3 person interview panel
- Company-issued laptop provided
- Potential contract-to-hire opportunity
Core Responsibilities
- Enter employee hours worked into the company timekeeping system (MyTime)
- Maintain, track, and retain Department of Transportation (DOT) documentation
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards
- Process information from various sources into databases and internal systems
- Perform records management and filing activities
- Support department operations with additional administrative and data entry tasks as assigned
- Meet productivity and quality expectations for volume, accuracy, and timeliness
Required Skills/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of data entry, administrative support, or related experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
Preferred Skills/Experience
- College-level coursework or degree
- Experience with timekeeping, payroll, or workforce management systems
- Experience maintaining compliance-related documentation and records
- Background supporting utility, transportation, or field operations environments

Work Environment
- Location: Pine Valley, CA
- Work Arrangement: Onsite
- Work Schedule: Full-Time, Core Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Opportunity to work remotely one day per week upon successful completion of training
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $15.00 and $22.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
