Our client, a leading Media & Entertainment provider, is seeking a Technical Marketing Analyst to join their team! This position is located in New York, NY.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the development of automation and scalable analytics solutions as the MPA team matures, helping to bridge current gaps and accelerate the team’s evolution toward a more advanced data-driven function
- Create visually engaging and insightful charts, dashboards, and infographics that communicate complex trends and data-driven narratives to a wide audience
- Assist in implementing and managing automated workflows for data collection, transformation, and reporting to reduce manual work and ensure timely, accurate insights
- Conduct focused, ad-hoc analyses to answer strategic business questions and support cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, and analytics
- Partner with internal stakeholders to uncover opportunities for optimization
- Leverage analytical findings to support data-driven marketing and content strategy decisions
- Provide insights on customer segmentation and behavioral trends to identify retention and upsell opportunities
- Stay informed on analytics best practices, tools, and competitive benchmarks to bring innovative approaches to the MPA team
- 5+ years of professional experience in marketing analytics or a data related fields
- Comfortable working with AI-powered tools
- Strong SQL skills
- Familiarity with generative AI applications in reporting, analytics, or business intelligence is highly desirable
- Curiosity and willingness to adopt new AI-driven workflows will be important for success
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Tableau, Looker, Python, AWS/Quicksight
- Prior experience in marketing analytics or working with a streaming service
- Experience working with digital marketing organizations
- Experience working with Marketing Mix Models
- Programming knowledge in Python or SQL
- Experience with large-scale data analysis and querying large datasets
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or similar data visualization/reporting platforms
- Experience building executive-level reporting and dashboards
- Ability to transform data into a compelling business narrative, both through presentations and written communications
- Prior experience in Marketing Analytics
- Candidates from either Marketing or Finance environments would be strong fits
- Forecasting, reporting, and performance-measurement experience are valuable
- Candidates with solid big data expertise can learn the marketing-specific aspects if needed
- Advanced excel knowledge (sumifs, index-match, macros)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Location: New York, NY
- Role supports a highly visible project with involvement from the CMO organization
- The team is currently using Amazon Q for AI-powered reporting and analytics
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $25.00 and $37.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
