Our client, a leading media and entertainment company, is seeking a Content Coordinator – Sports, News, & Entertainment to join their editorial team! This role will support content merchandising for a direct-to-consumer streaming platform, helping keep the app fresh, engaging, and aligned with editorial and business priorities.

- Duration: 24 weeks
- Work Location: Los Angeles, CA
- Work Arrangement: Onsite
- Merchandise app content based on editorial strategy, business priorities, and audience needs
- Partner with sports, entertainment, and news teams to surface and promote priority content
- Lead merchandising execution across featured content collections and coordinate with channel partners
- Manage day-to-day communications and coordination with internal content teams
- Track content performance using analytics tools and identify opportunities for optimization
- Optimize carousel placements to improve content engagement and discoverability
- Support editorial planning and execution across different dayparts, programming schedules, and major events
- Help maintain a fresh, dynamic, and relevant content experience across the streaming platform
- Experience working with editorial, programming, streaming, or digital content teams
- Understanding of digital content merchandising principles
- Experience working with CMS tools, content management systems, or merchandising platforms
- Familiarity with analytics tools and the ability to interpret content performance data
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work proactively
- Passion for news, sports, and entertainment content
- Prior experience working at a media, entertainment, sports, news, or streaming company
- Experience supporting a direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform
- Knowledge of audience behavior, content consumption, and digital media trends
- Experience with content collections, carousel merchandising, or similar digital merchandising functions
- Familiarity with editorial planning and programming schedules
- Experience using analytics to make content or merchandising decisions
- Editorial Judgment: Strong eye for content selection, placement, and audience relevance
- Collaboration: Comfortable working across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Proactive Mindset: Self-directed and able to identify opportunities without constant direction
- Attention to Detail: Highly organized with strong follow-through and accuracy
- Adaptability: Able to quickly learn new tools, workflows, and content strategies in a fast-paced environment

- Contract Duration: 24 weeks
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $28.00 and $40.00/hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
