Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Content Manager to join their team. This is a contract opportunity running from August through late November 2026. The Content Manager will support the design, build, and authoring of web content aligned with SEO and AI search requirements prioritized for 2026, focusing on enhancing and creating new pages within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with an emphasis on content quality, governance, and consistency.

Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Content Manager to join their team. This is a contract opportunity running from August through late November 2026. The Content Manager will support the design, build, and authoring of web content aligned with SEO and AI search requirements prioritized for 2026, focusing on enhancing and creating new pages within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with an emphasis on content quality, governance, and consistency.
Core Responsibilities
- Inventory pages requiring updates, and update pages and content fragments in Adobe Experience Manager across a large volume of pages
- Test and validate content for accuracy, working with the Product Owner to approve and publish content
- Partner with Digital Marketing, SEO teams, and AI specialists to share and integrate content that meets marketing objectives in a measurable fashion
- Manage site architecture and standards, working with the website editor to make updates, changes, and enhancements that meet site goals
- Maintain and update web content for timeliness, legal, and compliance requirements, following the Content Style Guide for consistent tone of voice, grammar, and usage
- Maintain taxonomy and tagging strategy for use on public channels, and produce content for digital-first presentation across web, mobile, and social channels
- Report status on progress to stakeholders
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as the primary CMS, including proficiency in AEM Digital Asset Manager
- Strong expertise in content management and authoring, content fragments, page creation and publishing, and public-facing website content operations
- Understanding and application of accessibility standards and guidelines
- Technical knowledge of content management systems and HTML
- Familiarity with SSO for content workflows
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional digital marketing teams (SEO, AI, marketing)
- Comfort following compliance and accessibility guidelines in a regulated environment
- Financial services industry experience (any regulated industry background is acceptable)
- Portfolio of content work (resume alone is acceptable)
- Experience considering cultural nuances in crafting and editing web content
- In-depth functional/industry knowledge relevant to enterprise digital marketing
- Highly flexible and adaptable; embraces ambiguity and responds positively to change
- Accurate with strong attention to detail
- Marketing-aligned mindset with focus on measurable outcomes
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to content quality, governance, and consistency
- Location: Chicago, IL — local candidates required
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week (Monday and Wednesday, plus one flexible day), 8:00am – 5:00pm CST
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $60.00 and $66.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
