Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Medical Affairs Writer supports the department in coordinating medical training and compliance-related tasks, provide group support in medical writing and administration of research, partnerships, and HCPs (healthcare providers) contracts. Reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs for the Americas, the Medical Writer will be supporting needs arise within the US Medical Affairs team, including the medical directors.

Our client is seeking a Medical Affairs Writer supports the department in coordinating medical training and compliance-related tasks, provide group support in medical writing and administration of research, partnerships, and HCPs (healthcare providers) contracts. Reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs for the Americas, the Medical Writer will be supporting needs arise within the US Medical Affairs team, including the medical directors.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform medical writing and research to support scientific publications, medical training programs, promotional material review and other documents, as well as conduct internal publication clearance for the US medical affairs department
- Support the US Med Affairs team on local medical governance-related activities such as compliance tracking, local standard operating procedure updates and roll out to meet compliance requirements
- Support the coordination of medical inquires, medical or product research, and fellowship programs
- Oversee and administer all department contracts and purchase orders including those with scientific thought leaders, healthcare providers, vendors, clinical study sites, advisory boards, and others
- Help set agenda and scheduling with goals to build capabilities and performance excellence and efficiency of the team
- Facilitate fair market value assessment and ensure contractual compliance by interfacing with procurement and legal departments
- Other administrative tasks to support the collective team
- Bachelor's Degree in a biomedical science discipline (e.g. pharmacology, biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, medical sciences), preferably with one or more years of work experience in a biomedical setting
- Ability to see and comprehend the big picture of a project team, yet thorough and attentive to the intricate details of the scientific work
- Being resourceful and possessing good problem-solving skills to resolve issues, reach project objectives and milestones on time
- Ability to work in a multistakeholder, multidisciplinary setting with Medical Directors, Compliance, Procurement, and other business functions
- Self-motivated person focused on delivering team/project outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the willingness to learn new tools and approaches
- Demonstrated proficiency in using and agility in learning business applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, AI Copilot, Perplexity

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $40.00 and $47.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
