We are seeking a highly experienced contractor with expertise in Wireless Transport Engineering to act as a standards and process owner within CND. The ideal candidate will leverage deep technical knowledge to define, document, and govern transport standards for our national wireless network and drive key automation initiatives.

Our client a leading communications provider is seeking a Business / Financial Analyst to join their team! This position is located remote.
We are seeking a highly experienced contractor with expertise in Wireless Transport Engineering to act as a standards and process owner within CND. The ideal candidate will leverage deep technical knowledge to define, document, and govern transport standards for our national wireless network and drive key automation initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the business owner for transport standards and processes the company's Common Network Database (CND)
- Lead the creation, review, and publication of guidance documents containing technical standards for wireless regions
- Define basic and enhanced requirements for wireless transport tools to support the next generation of the network, including C-band, Fixed Wireless Access, and eNSE technologies
- Develop comprehensive documentation on key transport configurations and naming conventions, such as: logical and physical circuit path naming standards, standardizing service types, focusing on the use of Fronthaul and Backhaul and documentation for strategic wireless technologies
- Drive enhancements related to data integrity matters across the wireless transport inventory, including supporting DQIs and data cleanup efforts in CND
- Host and participate in regular SME calls with region transport engineers and stakeholders to collect feedback and drive long-term process/tool improvement and automation
- Collaborate closely with development teams to align standards with tool automation and enhancement priorities
- Demonstrated experience in wireless transport engineering, including network, RAN, or construction experience
- Strong knowledge of the CND platform and its use in transport path documentation and inventory management
- Proven ability to research, write, and document technical standards and processes for large-scale telecommunications environments
- Experience defining requirements for next-generation wireless technologies such as C-band, Fixed Wireless Access, and eNSE
- Ability to host and lead technical review calls with cross-functional engineering teams
- 5+ years of experience in the cellular/telecommunications industry, specifically in Transport Engineering
- CCNA certification
- Knowledge in eNSE Optical Transport systems, including Ciena, Nokia, and Cisco equipment
- Granite experience
- Strong communications skills

- Time-management skills

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $43.00 and $63.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
