Job Summary:
Our client, a leading provider in travel & hospitality, is looking for a Senior UX Product Designer to support their product design team on a contract role running through 12/31/2026, hybrid onsite Tuesday-Thursday in Fort Worth, TX. The team is responsible for the visual design, interaction flow, and overall usability of digital applications used across the business. The role involves owning end-to-end UX design work, from research and ideation through execution, working closely with Engineering to implement solutions, and presenting design decisions to stakeholders and Product Owners. The right candidate has real hands-on experience owning UX work independently, strong Figma skills, and proven experience collaborating with Engineers in an agile environment. Strong storytelling and presentation skills are important given the volume of stakeholder collaboration involved.

Core Responsibilities
- Influence Product Owner decisions using UX best practices, design principles, and research
- Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications, adhering to design system standards
- Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and conceptual diagrams with systems thinking and information architecture in mind
- Create research strategies and usability test plans, running heuristic reviews, user interviews, and remote/in-person testing
- Collaborate with Engineering from inception through implementation to find the most effective way to build solutions
- Collect, analyze, and act on UX feedback, managing changes to deliverables
- Present work clearly and compellingly to stakeholders using storytelling and presentation skills
- Provide timely status updates using project management tools like Rally, Jira, or Aha
- Mentor and guide other designers to foster growth and collaboration
- Ensure designs are responsive and adaptive across desktop and mobile platforms
- 3+ years of experience as a UX practitioner in UX design, interaction design, or similar
- Strong skills in modern design and prototyping tools, specifically Figma
- Proven experience working closely with Engineers from inception through implementation in an agile environment
- Experience collaborating effectively across stakeholders, disciplines, product lines, and time zones
- Advanced analytical skills for complex data problems and implementing sustainable solutions
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills to communicate design decisions
- Experience with accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.0+ AA compliance, localization, and inclusive design
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end development languages
- Strong organizational skills for labeling, classifying, and building flows for complex applications
- Experience leveraging AI tools as part of the design process
- Comfortable working as an individual contributor, doing hands-on design work directly rather than overseeing others
- Strong consulting approach, able to influence Product Owners and stakeholders without direct authority
- Able to balance multiple concurrent design projects and initiatives
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and design system consistency
- Comfortable presenting and defending design decisions in front of cross-functional groups
- Reliable and collaborative given the hybrid, cross-time-zone nature of the work
- Location: Fort Worth, Texas
- hybrid onsite Tuesday-Thursday, remote Monday and Friday
- Duration: Contract through 12/31/2026
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $50.00 and $60.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
