Experience Systems Specialist
Job Summary
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Experience Systems Specialist to join their Experience Design team. This fully remote contract opportunity supports the evolution of a large-scale digital experience platform by ensuring reusable templates, accessibility standards, and design system implementation remain consistent and scalable. The ideal candidate has expertise in design systems, accessibility, template governance, and cross-functional collaboration with design, engineering, and content teams.

Core Responsibilities
- Validate and apply WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards across digital experiences and reusable templates
- Conduct design QA and accessibility reviews before production launches
- Ensure design intent is accurately implemented through collaboration with front-end engineering
- Create clear template specifications, annotations, and documentation for reusable components
- Support template architecture, component libraries, and scalable page models
- Validate structured content and CMS implementations to maintain template integrity
- Evaluate templates for AI readiness and support scalable content experiences
- Partner with design, engineering, and content teams to ensure consistent implementation of design system standards
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, Design Systems, or related roles
- Experience with design systems, reusable templates, and design-to-development handoffs
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards and design QA
- Experience working with structured content, CMS platforms, and cross-functional Agile teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and systems-thinking skills

Work Environment
- Location: Remote (Eastern Time business hours required)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (37.5 hours/week)
- Interview Process: Two virtual interviews
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $40.00 and $47.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
