Senior Brand Marketing Manager
Job Summary
Our client, a leading media organization, is seeking a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to help build a connected and distinctive brand experience across the organization by translating brand strategy into practical systems, programs, tools, and partnerships. This role will oversee brand stewardship initiatives, including digital asset management (DAM), naming and trademark coordination, employee brand engagement, brand education, and governance.
Contract Key Details
- Duration: 2-year, 6-month contract. From September 14, 2026 through March 11, 2029
- Location: El Segundo, CA
- Modality: Onsite required
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the rollout, governance, and adoption of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, ensuring asset quality, metadata accuracy, user enablement, and continuous optimization.
- Serve as the primary Brand partner to the DAM platform administrator, translating team needs and user feedback into workflow and system improvements
- Lead employee brand activation programs that build awareness, engagement, and brand pride across the organization
- Develop employee-facing brand education, communications, engagement programs, and a quarterly brand newsletter
- Manage naming initiatives for internal and external products, programs, and services from agency briefing and ideation through leadership evaluation and recommendation
- Partner with Trademark Legal on naming clearance, ownership, registration, licensing, and protection, while maintaining an accurate inventory of company-owned and actively used trademarks and names
- Develop and maintain brand review processes, toolkits, templates, and resources that support consistent brand application
- Serve as a strategic brand partner to internal teams and provide guidance aligned with brand standards, positioning, and business objectives
- Lead brand training, review sessions, and best-practice sharing for internal teams and external partners
- Manage project plans, stakeholder communication, timelines, and success measures for assigned initiatives
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Hands-on experience working with a digital asset management (DAM) platform
- Experience working directly with creative and/or brand teams
- Experience managing approvals and creative/brand assets
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and projects
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage brand governance, processes, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and move quickly when project demands increase
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience with naming, trademark, or brand clearance processes
- Direct experience partnering with Legal on naming and trademark initiatives
- Experience working at an advertising agency or within a branding environment
- Knowledge of Acquia software
- Experience with Smartsheet
- Experience developing brand education, training, or employee engagement programs

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $30.00 and $55.25 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
