Job Summary
Our client, a leading consumer products company, is seeking a Social Content Specialist to join their team! This position is a 12-month contract and is primarily remote, with candidates expected to be located in the Greater Chicago, IL or Greater New York Metro Area. Occasional onsite attendance (approximately once per quarter) may be required for business-critical meetings.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Our client, a leading consumer products company, is seeking a Social Content Specialist to join their team! Core Responsibilities
- Create engaging, platform-native content for social channels including TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and other emerging platforms
- Design static graphics and edit short-form video content that aligns with brand guidelines while embracing current social trends
- Partner with internal marketing teams and creative agencies to develop content that supports campaigns and brand initiatives
- Assist in creating social media toolkits, creator briefs, and content templates
- Stay current on platform updates, social trends, creator content, and best practices to continuously improve creative output
- Support light community management by monitoring social channels, responding to audience engagement, and escalating trends or issues as needed
- Measure content performance and contribute ideas that improve engagement and platform relevance
- 2+ years of experience creating social media content for brands or agencies
- Strong experience producing TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form video content
- Experience creating UGC (User-Generated Content) or collaborating with creators and influencers
- Strong video editing and graphic design skills using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or similar
- Deep understanding of current social media trends, platform best practices, and content optimized for each platform
- Portfolio showcasing social media content, creative campaigns, or digital storytelling
- Excellent copywriting, communication, and creative collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field
- Experience supporting creator partnerships or influencer marketing programs
- Community management experience using social media management platforms such as Sprinklr
- Experience contributing to creative briefs, content planning, and campaign strategy
- Demonstrated success creating high-performing social content backed by engagement or performance metrics
- Bilingual in Spanish

- Location: Greater Chicago Metro Area or Greater New York Metro Area (East Coast candidates may also be considered)

- Up to 25% travel as needed
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $18.00 and $26.00. Please note that the pay rate provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
