Sustainability Data & Reporting Program Manager
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Sustainability Data & Reporting Program Manager to join their team!
The Sustainability Data & Reporting Program Manager supports the Corporate Services’ organization for climate related measurement, management and reporting related to client’s greenhouse gas (GHG). This individual is key to the client’s Sustainability department delivery on program management, reporting, analysis, and relationship-building to reduce our carbon footprint which helps reduce the costs of operating our network, drive efficiencies and reduce emissions throughout the economy.
With an intense focus on data integrity, process consistency and reporting accuracy, this role will deliver cost effective, operationally efficient, environmentally conscious and value-added sustainable reporting and practices within business operations. Serving as a key member of the Sustainability team, this position will report to the Senior Director, Sustainability.
Core Duties
- Learns and owns calculation processes for existing Scope 3 metrics, including requesting data and data validation from cross-functional stakeholders
- Responsible for ensuring accurate and complete data and emissions factors for existing Scope 3 metrics, including checking data for upload to Salesforce Net Zero Cloud, exporting data reports and creating consolidated workbooks for review
- Develops methodologies and calculates complete Scope 3 emissions, particularly focusing on taking existing lifecycle assessments from internal analysis and external vendors and structuring them by GHG Protocol category
- Consolidating initial Scope 3 GHG inventory data in various formats (Excel, PPT, dashboards) and breakouts (by scope, by goal / targets and by business division) as requested by Sustainability or internal teams
- Responsible for emissions factors associated with existing Scope 3 metrics, ensuring they are calculated consistently and correct in Salesforce Net Zero Cloud
- Supports process improvements, analysis, audits and reporting on GHG, climate and efficiency initiatives data collection methods
- Research individual topics as requested on GHG protocol or climate data accounting methods for Scope 3, including benchmarking from available public / external reports (ESG reporting, SASB, CDP, TCFD)
- Perform other duties as requested that support the success of client’s Sustainability program
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental sciences or related field
- 3+ years Data analytics, research or related functional experience
- 2+ years sustainability or greenhouse gas / carbon accounting experience
- Experience calculating Scope 3 emissions and/or conducting lifecycle assessments
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Salesforce Net Zero Cloud
- Knowledge of the telecommunications, technology and connectivity industries
- Experience working directly for a large corporation
- Public accounting or consulting experience Work Environment

- Experience using online content management and collaboration tools (i.e., SharePoint)
- Familiarity and understanding of greenhouse gas emission accounting standards and guidelines (GHG Protocol) and sustainability reporting systems

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $40.00 and $44.00 hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
