Marketing Campaign Operations Consultant
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Operations Contractor to serve as a critical operational link during the transition from agency-based production to a dedicated internal team of Marketing Automation Specialists based in India. This role will support onboarding and training, establish rigorous quality standards, oversee campaign execution, and lead strategic operational initiatives that enable global scale while maintaining high-quality delivery.

- Support end-to-end training and onboarding for an India-based team across marketing automation, CRM, event management, and project management platforms
- Develop playbooks, documentation, communication protocols, and escalation processes to support team independence and effective cross-timezone collaboration
- Build and maintain QA frameworks, audit checklists, and peer-review processes to ensure high-quality, error-free campaign delivery
- Monitor performance metrics including error rates, SLA compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Execute complex marketing automation programs, including nurture streams, segmentation, lead scoring, and campaign workflows
- Lead strategic operational projects such as intake process redesigns, platform optimization, and AI-driven workflow enhancements
- Partner with leadership on resource planning, project prioritization, and overall team performance
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or B2B SaaS marketing technology
- Expert-level proficiency with Marketo, including program architecture, smart lists, lead scoring, tokens, email design, and campaign execution
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including campaign management, lead lifecycle, and data integrity
- Experience with Zoom Events, Salesloft, and related marketing platforms
- Experience developing QA frameworks, quality standards, and operational processes for scaling teams
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and prevent errors
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide feedback, escalate issues, and maintain quality standards
- Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) certification
- Experience working with India-based or other offshore teams
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and landing page troubleshooting
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau
- Experience scoping or implementing AI/ML applications for marketing operations
- Familiarity with Smartsheet or other project management tools
- Strong understanding of B2B lead lifecycle and demand generation

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $35.00 and $55.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
