Program Operations Consultant
Job Summary
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Program Operations Consultant to join their Client Growth & Retention Value Stream supporting the Financial Wellbeing Program.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.
Contract Details
- Contract: 12-month contract with possible extension
- Location: New York, NY
- Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week (Tuesday through Thursday)
- Hours: 37.5-hour work week
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operational execution of the Financial Wellbeing Program across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Execute end-to-end onboarding activities for agents and employer groups, including intake surveys, file management, system setup, and partner coordination
- Coordinate workshop scheduling, logistics, educator assignments, and delivery readiness activities
- Maintain centralized content libraries, submission trackers, and support compliance filing deadlines
- Produce recurring program reports and perform audits to ensure data quality and operational accuracy
- Manage issue intake queues, investigate operational challenges, and drive timely resolution of requests
- Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and service-level agreements
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process improvements, automation, and platform enhancements
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in program operations, project management, process management, or a related operational role
- Strong project and process management skills with experience managing multiple recurring deliverables and deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading, auditing, and quality control capabilities
- Experience generating reports, tracking metrics, and maintaining data accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to document processes, workflows, and operational procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience supporting onboarding, enablement, training, or workshop programs
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience with Qualtrics, Calendly, JIRA, content management systems, or similar operational tools
- Knowledge of compliance, governance, or regulatory business processes
- Experience supporting operational improvement or process optimization initiatives
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and technologies
- Background within insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $25.00 and $36.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
