Our client, a leading energy & utilities provider, is seeking three highly motivated Project Coordinators to support project management activities within the organization. This role provides critical administrative and operational support to project managers and cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are efficiently scheduled, documented, and executed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to project managers, including scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, and maintaining project calendars
- Update and maintain project plans and documentation using tools such as Microsoft Project and Excel
- Assist in information gathering, validation, and tracking of project data
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal teams to schedule pre-construction activities
- Create, track, and issue jobs in SAP and maintain accurate records in systems such as Nexus
- Interpret construction sketches and basic electrical metering information
- Serve as a point of contact for incoming inquiries from customers, project managers, and planners
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects are properly scheduled and progressing on time
- Troubleshoot issues, proactively identify risks, and support problem-solving efforts
- Maintain organized logs and documentation using Microsoft Excel and other tools
- High School Diploma required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially: Excel (formulas, reporting, logs), Word, Visio and Microsoft Project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work onsite full-time
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working with SAP (Production and/or Finance modules)
- Exposure to construction, utilities, or infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings or construction sketches
- Experience supporting project management or operations teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Highly collaborative team player
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Onsite: 5 days per week
- Location: Kearney Mesa, San Diego, CA
- Work is performed onsite in a collaborative office setting
- Equipment provided (laptop, monitor, docking station)
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $20.00 and $28.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
