Job Summary:
Our client, a leading media & entertainment provider, is seeking a seasoned Lead Product Manager to own end-to-end product strategy and delivery for two interconnected domains: identity & authentication and the onboarding experience. In this role, you will write requirements, drive execution alongside engineering and design, define and track product KPIs, and maintain a sharp view of the competitive landscape. You will be the primary product voice across the organization — equal parts strategist, writer, and builder.
This is a fully remote, contract position.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Core Responsibilities
- Author clear, complete product requirements — acceptance criteria, edge cases, and technical constraints — that serve as the source of truth for engineering and design
- Own the product roadmap across identity/authentication and onboarding, balancing user needs, business objectives, and delivery capacity
- Translate complex auth flows (SSO, OAuth/OIDC, passkeys, entitlement logic) and onboarding funnels into well-structured, build-ready specs
- Lead refinement sessions to ensure requirements are understood and scoped before work begins
- Embed with development teams through the full product lifecycle — from discovery and design review through build, QA, and launch
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across engineering, design, security, marketing, and enterprise stakeholders
- Establish clear release readiness standards and own go/no-go decisions for product launches
- Manage competing priorities and drive decisions that keep the team moving without sacrificing quality
- Define and own the KPI framework for identity and onboarding — including auth success rates, onboarding completion, activation, and subscription conversion metrics
- Track, analyze, and report on product performance; translate data into clear, actionable product decisions
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting cadences for leadership and stakeholder visibility
- Use data to identify friction points in auth flows and onboarding funnels and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain an ongoing, working knowledge of the competitive landscape across streaming platforms, digital identity, and free/AVOD onboarding models
- Monitor industry trends in authentication standards, account management, and free tier acquisition strategies to inform roadmap prioritization
- Identify whitespace opportunities by benchmarking customer experiences against competitors and category leaders
- Bring competitive context into roadmap discussions and executive communications
- Serve as a product SME for identity and onboarding across the organization
- Communicate roadmap status, delivery updates, and product decisions to executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence
- Drive feature prioritization and resource allocation decisions aligned to business goals
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, security, legal, and business development
- Seasoned Project Manager with full command of the product development lifecycle — from requirements authoring through launch and iteration
- Demonstrated experience writing detailed product requirements
- Strong analytical understanding — experienced defining KPI frameworks, building dashboards, and driving data-informed decisions
- MVPD, OTT Streaming, or SVOD background with working knowledge of device ecosystems (managed and unmanaged 3rd party connected tv devices)
- Strong client and stakeholder communication skills — can translate technical complexity into business narratives
- Proven ability to navigate complex, ambiguous problem spaces and keep cross-functional teams aligned
- Track record owning and communicating roadmaps to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on auth product experience: identity management, SSO, OAuth/OIDC, passkeys, or entitlement/subscription flows
- Experience owning free tier or AVOD onboarding funnels — activation, conversion, and lifecycle metrics
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools; bonus if you have built AI-powered product prototypes or integrated LLMs into product workflows
- Demonstrated knowledge of competitive landscape across streaming, digital identity, and free/AVOD models
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $80.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
