Our Financial Services client is seeking a Creative Project Manager who is responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and trafficking of creative projects ensuring consistency with client strategy, commitments, and goals. An ideal candidate would be able to help guide cross-functional resources for timely project completion and be comfortable presenting to senior leaders and decision makers.
Core Responsibilities
- Work with creative team, marketing strategists, and channel managers to deliver projects such as emails, signage, environmental design, direct mail, social, web, display, video, etc.
- Facilitate new project intakes for resourcing needs by business priority
- Build out project plans and manages assignments to ensure timely delivery of assets
- Utilize workflow management tool (Workfront) for successful project delivery
- Build timelines and workflows
- Own and manage marketing roadmaps
- Track project progress and ensure timelines kept up to date
- Proactively problem solve/troubleshoot for team
- Provide reporting as necessary for team(s) and leadership
- Facilitate team ceremonies such as stand-ups, kickoffs, creative reviews, and retrospectives
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Provide direction and support to program team and creative services teams
- Partner with Program Manager to understand and improve upon overall team efficiencies, workflows & processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Communications or related field or equivalent work experience required
- 4+ years of direct work experience in Project Management required
- 3+ years experience with in-house creative, or advertising agency, or digital marketing
- 3+ years experience reviewing visual design and written content
- 3+ years experience supporting digital or social channels preferred
- 1+ years experience with Workfront or a similar platform preferred
- Comfortable managing a high-volume (20+) of concurrent projects with shifting deadlines/priorities across numerous lines of business simultaneously
- Independently drives both tactical and strategic initiatives forward
- Comfort with white space thinking; uses advanced problem solving skills to drive clarity
- Communicates with excellent written, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Remains calm and resilient when faced with shifting priorities and roadblocks
- Location: Remote in Market - Richmond, VA, McLean, VA or Chicago, IL
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $35.00 and $42.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
