Lead Automation Tester

Job Summary 
Our client a leading communications provider is seeking a Lead Automation Tester to join their team! This position is located in Maryland Heights, Missouri. 

Core Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Junit and Cucumber (BDD) tests for web application testing
• Collaborate with development and product teams to create automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards
• Utilize Java and JavaScript for creating automation test frameworks and scripts
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Improve the test suite by implementing best practices and optimizing test performance
• Ensure proper integration of the test automation suite with the CI/CD pipeline
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code standards
• Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in test automation

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• Proven experience in test automation with Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience with XPath (XML Path Language)
• Experience in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) 

• Familiarity with additional test automation tools and frameworks
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Java programming language

Compensation & Benefits 

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $88,000 and $105,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
