Software Developer - Front End

Job Summary:
Our client, a leading Financial Services provider, is seeking a Software Developer - Front End to join their team! This position is located in Atlanta, Georgia or Irving, Texas. 
 
Core Responsibilities

• Develop websites and applications through all phases of the development life cycle (including planning, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining)
• Work with project managers using traditional and Agile methodologies to plan and execute development

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• 10+ years of experience in design, development and triaging for large, complex systems
• 5+ years of microservices development
• 3+ years working in Spring Boot
• Experienced using API dev tools like IntelliJ/Eclipse, Postman, Git, Cucumber
• Hands on experience in building microservices based application using Spring Boot and REST, JSON
• DevOps understanding – containers, cloud, automation, security, configuration management, CI/CD Experience in streaming technologies like Apache Kafka
• Excellent understanding of file transfer protocols like FTP, FTSP, SFTP
• A solid grasp of fundamental algorithms and applications
• Strong design and coding skills in Typescript/Javascript, and/or React
• Firm understanding of software development principles, capabilities and limitations of platforms, including first-time user experience, battery life, connectivity issues, and perceived performance
• Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team
• Hands on experience with JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge of Accessibility and Web Standards
• Experience with both Responsive and Adaptive Web Design
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, etc.

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) 

• Experience in financial domain

Compensation & Benefits 

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $57.00 and $67.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
