Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

Core Responsibilities

• Stage, configure, label, and validate HPE Aruba EdgeConnect / Silver Peak SD-WAN equipment for multi-site deployment
• Coordinate deployment activities with field teams, vendors, and site contacts to ensure readiness and smooth installation/cutover
• Support implementation and migration activities aligned with network engineering and project timelines
• Troubleshoot SD-WAN connectivity and deployment issues during staging, cutover, and post-deployment phases
• Validate pre- and post-deployment connectivity, routing, and VPN functionality
• Maintain accurate documentation including staging checklists, configuration records, and site readiness reports
• Ensure adherence to change management processes and deployment standards
• Provide status updates on deployment progress, risks, issues, and site milestones

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with HPE Aruba EdgeConnect / Silver Peak SD-WAN
• Strong understanding of SD-WAN architecture, deployment, and operational support
• Experience staging, configuring, labeling, and deploying network devices in enterprise environments
• Solid knowledge of WAN, routing, switching, and VPN fundamentals
• Experience supporting multi-site enterprise network rollouts and cutover activities
• Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and SD-WAN deployment issues
• Basic experience with Palo Alto firewalls (configuration and troubleshooting)

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise transformation or network modernization programs
• Familiarity with change management and structured deployment methodologies
• Exposure to network monitoring and management tools used in SD-WAN environments
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including vendors, field engineers, and network operations
• Strong documentation skills using templates, runbooks, and deployment trackers
• Exposure to LAN infrastructure design and troubleshooting in enterprise environments
• Experience supporting geographically distributed, multi-site implementations

• Combination of staging lab work, remote coordination, and potential on-site cutover support
• Collaboration with internal engineering teams, field technicians, and external vendors
• Time-sensitive project timelines with structured change management processes
• Requires flexibility during deployment windows and cutover events
• Focus on operational precision, documentation accuracy, and deployment consistency

Compensation & Benefits 

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $55.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
