Full Stack Engineer (Python/Go)

Job Summary
Our client is seeking multiple Full Stack Engineers to support the development of scalable, cloud-native applications and innovative digital solutions. This role will focus on full stack development, AWS cloud technologies, and AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate software delivery and enhance engineering productivity. The ideal candidate will have experience with at least two modern programming languages, cloud development, and enterprise-scale application design.

Contract Details

• Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Opportunity for Extension)
• Location: McLean, VA (3 openings), Richmond, VA (1 opening), or Remote (U.S.)
   

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications and services
• Build scalable cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS technologies
• Develop software using at least two of the following languages: Go, Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver technical solutions
• Utilize Claude and other AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and code quality
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions
• Support application performance, scalability, security, and reliability initiatives
• Implement and maintain CI/CD processes and development best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves)

• Previous Financial Services industry experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Go, Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Strong AWS cloud experience
• Experience utilizing Claude or similar AI-powered development tools
• Understanding of software architecture and modern application development practices
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills & Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience building microservices and distributed systems
• Knowledge of containerization and DevOps practices
• Experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with serverless and cloud-native technologies
• Background supporting large enterprise environments

Work Environment

• Location: Open to McLean, VA, Richmond, VA, or remote within the United States

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $56.00 and $80.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
