Job Summary
Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Pegasystem System Architect to join their team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting technically complex Pegasystem frameworks while providing technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to application development teams. The System Architect will play a key role in driving application modernization, Agile/DevOps practices, release management, and scalable technology solutions.

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid preferred; candidates located near MN, Denver, TX, or Atlanta hub locations preferred
Core Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain technically complex Pegasystem frameworks supporting application development initiatives
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practice guidance to application developers and development teams
  • Own the ongoing development, support, and maintenance of application framework components, including web, services, enterprise application integration/service bus, and batch frameworks
  • Provide production support by troubleshooting application performance issues, identifying root causes, and collaborating with operations and application teams
  • Assist with architectural design decisions and ensure solutions align with enterprise technology standards and business requirements
  • Support Agile and DevOps practices, including release management, source code management (SCM), and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan releases, coordinate resources, resolve risks/issues, and improve delivery processes
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
  • 6+ years of IT experience
  • 5+ years of application development experience in a PRPC/Pega Infinity environment
  • Strong experience designing and implementing Pegasystem solutions and frameworks
  • Experience providing technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to development teams
  • Experience supporting Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, enterprise integrations, and technical solution design
  • Experience with release management and source code management processes
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating with offshore development teams
  • Experience working in financial services or enterprise-scale technology environments
  • Experience supporting large-scale application modernization initiatives
  • Knowledge of enterprise application integration/service bus frameworks
  • Experience with Agile release methodologies and cross-functional delivery models
  • Experience researching and recommending emerging technologies to improve application capabilities

  • Hybrid preferred; open to qualified onshore candidates

Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $53 and $77. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
