Systems Architect/Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Our a client, a major financial and banking services provider, is seeking a Systems Architect/Senior Software Engineer with strong Pega Infinity and Kubernetes expertise to support enterprise application development, deployment, and modernization initiatives. This role will focus on designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable Pega solutions in cloud-native environments while supporting DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise Pega applications
- Build and maintain Pega deployment processes within Kubernetes environments
- Manage Docker images, Helm charts, upgrades, rollbacks, and production deployments
- Configure and support integrations with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and other enterprise platforms
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, scalability, and reliability standards
- Partner with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 6+ years of Pega Infinity 8.x+ experience
- Strong Kubernetes and containerization experience
- Experience with Helm, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Pega Cloud)
- CI/CD and DevOps experience
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
- Strong understanding of software architecture and system design
Preferred Skills & Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Pega CSSA or LSA certification
- Pega Deployment Manager experience
- Java or .NET development background
- Kafka and event-driven architecture experience
- PostgreSQL database experience
- REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and API integration expertise
- Financial services industry experience
- Team leadership and mentoring experience
- Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) experience
- AI-driven decisioning, Next-Best-Action (NBA), and predictive analytics experience

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $52.00 and $75.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
