Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Job Summary
Our client, a leading Financial Services provider, is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their team developing next-generation Sales Enablement solutions powered by Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Machine Learning. This role will focus on designing, developing, validating, and deploying machine learning models in a production environment while ensuring compliance with Model Risk Management (MRM) and Responsible AI requirements. The successful candidate will work alongside Full Stack Engineers and AI Engineers to transform business requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions that enhance the user experience and deliver measurable business value.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand Sales Enablement use cases and identify AI/ML opportunities
- Analyze data sources, existing systems, and current solutions to develop data-driven recommendations
- Design, build, train, test, and deploy machine learning models in production environments
- Develop scalable ML solutions leveraging existing enterprise data pipelines and datasets
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into business applications
- Ensure all solutions comply with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standards and enterprise governance requirements
- Partner with Model Risk Management (MRM) teams to support model validation, documentation, testing, and evidence gathering
- Implement Responsible AI principles, controls, and governance processes throughout the model lifecycle
- Evaluate model performance and continuously optimize solutions for accuracy, reliability, and scalability
- Contribute to Generative AI initiatives, including model development, validation, and evaluation methodologies
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- Strong proficiency in Python and Java
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying Machine Learning models in production environments
- Experience working with Model Risk Management (MRM) frameworks, processes, and controls
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, feature engineering, model development, testing, and deployment
- Experience collaborating within cross-functional Agile development teams
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience with Generative AI solutions, including development, evaluation, and validation techniques
- Full-stack engineering experience within a large enterprise environment
- Experience building and supporting scalable AI applications in production

Work Environment
- Location: Cincinnati, OH
- Candidates must be able to work onsite in Cincinnati, OH a minimum of 3 days per week
- Candidates must be available to report onsite on their first day for equipment pickup and setup
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $43.00 and $62.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
