Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary
Our client, a leader in financial services provider, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications and services. This role will focus on modern software engineering practices, AWS-based development, and AI-assisted coding tools to deliver innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Python, Go, software architecture, and CI/CD pipelines. 

Contract Details

• Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Opportunity for Extension)
• Location: USA
• Work Arrangement: Remote

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full stack applications and microservices
• Build and maintain cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and Fargate
• Develop high-quality software using Java, Python, and Go
• Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployments
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams to deliver technical solutions
• Participate in software architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions
• Utilize AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code and Windsurf to improve development efficiency
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain existing applications and services
• Follow best practices for security, scalability, reliability, and performance

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves)

• Previous Financial Services industry experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on development experience with Java, Python, and/or Go
• Experience building applications within AWS cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Fargate
• Strong understanding of software architecture and distributed systems
• Experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills & Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with Claude Code, Windsurf, or other AI-assisted development tools
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation tools
• Experience with containerization and modern DevOps practices
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $56.00 and $80.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
