Our Financial Services client is seeking a Automation Testing Engineer who will be responsible for designing and building automated and regression testing capabilities for Digital Analytics platforms, including Adobe Analytics and Tealium. This role focuses on transitioning analytics validation from manual testing to a scalable, automation-first model.
Core Responsibilities
- Key responsibilities include designing test automation frameworks, building and maintaining automated regression suites, validating analytics data collection (tags, events, variables, and payloads), and supporting release validation through automated testing
- The engineer will work closely with onshore product, engineering, and release teams during US business hours to ensure accuracy, speed, and stability of analytics implementations
- The role is execution-heavy in the initial phase, requiring hands-on development, framework setup, documentation, and knowledge transfer
- Once the automation framework is established, the responsibilities will shift toward maintenance and enablement
- Design and develop programs that conduct automatic tests on new and existent software
- Designing and developing test automation scripts
- Using test automation guidelines, design, program, simulate and test automated machinery and processes in order to complete exact tasks
- Experience building and maintaining automated regression test suites
- Experience using Git/GitHub and standard code review practices
- Familiarity with API testing, network call validation, and JSON payload analysis
- Proficiency with JavaScript or Java, and familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Strong debugging skills using browser developer tools
- Strong experience in test automation framework design and development (UI, API, and regression testing)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test execution integration
- Ability to validate analytics data layers, tags, events, variables, and server calls
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics (Web SDK / AppMeasurement) and Tealium iQ

- Location: Cupertino, CA
- Hybrid, 3 days a week on site
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $64.00 and $82.00, without PTO. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
