Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Manager, Reliability to join their team! This position is remote.
The Senior Manager, Reliability is responsible for delivering and sustaining reliability programs and performance across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role partners closely with operations leadership, plant managers, and maintenance teams to optimize equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve maintenance performance and fixed-cost efficiency.
The position supports maintenance and reliability excellence initiatives including asset care implementation, preventive and predictive maintenance optimization, root cause failure analysis, reliability metric improvement, and support for capital projects and commissioning activities.

The Senior Manager, Reliability is responsible for delivering and sustaining reliability programs and performance across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role partners closely with operations leadership, plant managers, and maintenance teams to optimize equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve maintenance performance and fixed-cost efficiency.
The position supports maintenance and reliability excellence initiatives including asset care implementation, preventive and predictive maintenance optimization, root cause failure analysis, reliability metric improvement, and support for capital projects and commissioning activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Support sites in analyzing downtime, identifying root causes, and eliminating recurring equipment issues
- Drive implementation and sustainability of reliability and asset care programs across multiple facilities
- Partner with plant leadership and maintenance teams to improve operational reliability performance
- Promote collaboration and sharing of best practices across sites
- Participate in project reviews to ensure reliability standards are incorporated into equipment and system designs
- Support major project implementation, startup, and commissioning activities
- Benchmark plant performance to identify opportunities for operational, maintenance, and cost improvements
- Assist facilities with implementation of maintenance best practices including: preventive and predictive maintenance strategies; asset criticality assessments; lubrication programs; and work management processes
- Support compliance with maintenance and reliability policies, procedures, and change management practices
- Analyze maintenance and reliability metrics to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with plant teams to optimize planned outages, shutdowns, and maintenance activities
- Assist in development and monitoring of maintenance budgets and shutdown spending
- Serve as a subject matter expert for maintenance and reliability initiatives
- Support training, coaching, and development of plant maintenance personnel
- 15+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience with predictive maintenance technologies
- Experience improving reliability culture and driving performance improvements across multiple sites
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both leadership teams and frontline maintenance personnel
- Advanced experience with SAP Plant Maintenance and Materials Management modules
- Experience coaching and influencing teams without direct authority
- Experience in plant maintenance and regional reliability management required
- Experience in soy, corn, grain, oilseed, food processing, or similar processing industries highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred
- Preferred certifications include: SMRP certification; Vibration Analysis Level I & II; Infrared Thermography Level I & II; Oil Analysis Level I & II; Ultrasonic Level I
- Predictive maintenance technologies and reliability-centered maintenance practices
- Vibration analysis tools and software
- Ultrasonic inspection tools
- Infrared thermography equipment
- Motor circuit analysis technologies
- Oil analysis programs
- Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), 5-Why, and related problem-solving methodologies
- Maintenance strategy development and optimization
- Strong analytical, administrative, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and change management capabilities

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $55.00 and $75.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
