Job Summary
Our client, a leading retail and consumer goods provider, is seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead and drive enterprise readiness initiatives that ensure large-scale ecommerce platforms maintain peak operational performance, scalability, resiliency, and availability year-round. This role will partner with engineering, product, operations, and leadership teams to embed operational readiness into standard processes, drive adoption of established frameworks, and provide visibility into organizational readiness across multiple teams and programs.

Our client, a leading retail and consumer goods provider, is seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead and drive enterprise readiness initiatives that ensure large-scale ecommerce platforms maintain peak operational performance, scalability, resiliency, and availability year-round. This role will partner with engineering, product, operations, and leadership teams to embed operational readiness into standard processes, drive adoption of established frameworks, and provide visibility into organizational readiness across multiple teams and programs.
Core Responsibilities
- Own and drive operational readiness initiatives across multiple technology organizations
- Partner with Product, Engineering, SRE, Infrastructure, Operations, and leadership teams to align readiness objectives and execution plans
- Ensure adoption of readiness standards, processes, and best practices across teams
- Drive accountability, execution, and follow-through on critical readiness activities
- Coordinate capacity planning, performance testing, resiliency reviews, and operational preparedness efforts
- Gather stakeholder feedback and continuously improve readiness processes and tooling
- Promote usage and maintenance of operational runbooks, SOPs, and readiness documentation
- Create executive-level visibility into program progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
- Influence cross-functional teams and drive initiatives without direct authority
- Support ongoing efforts to improve platform scalability, reliability, and operational excellence
- Technical Product Owner, Technical Program Manager, or similar experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives
- Experience supporting large-scale ecommerce, digital commerce, or high-traffic customer-facing platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience driving programs and initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority
- Understanding of scalability, performance, capacity planning, reliability, and availability concepts
- Experience working closely with engineering, infrastructure, platform, and operations teams
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms
- Experience documenting SOPs, operational runbooks, and process documentation
- Background in process improvement, operational excellence, or continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience partnering with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), platform engineering, or infrastructure teams
- Experience supporting holiday readiness, peak traffic events, or large-scale demand planning efforts
- Exposure to cloud environments and microservices architectures, preferably within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with readiness assessments, operational governance, or service management processes
- Familiarity with monitoring, incident management, and production support frameworks
- Strong leadership and influencing skills without direct authority
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building abilities
- Strategic thinker with strong execution and follow-through capabilities
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven decision maker with strong problem-solving skills
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $89.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
