MuleSoft Developer / MuleSoft Technical Lead
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a MuleSoft Developer / Technical Lead to join their team! This position is in Oakland, California, with a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4)
- Build REST and SOAP APIs using RAML / OAS specifications
- Develop and optimize DataWeave transformations for XML/JSON payloads
- Implement API-led connectivity patterns such as: Experience, Process, System APIs
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, and Jenkins
- Deploy applications via CloudHub and/or Runtime Fabric (RTF)
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support continuous improvement
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4)
- Experience designing and building APIs (REST/SOAP, RAML / OAS)
- Advanced DataWeave experience for data transformations
- Strong knowledge of API-led connectivity and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Git, Maven, Jenkins)
- Experience with CloudHub and/or Runtime Fabric (RTF) deployments
- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning skills
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- MuleSoft Certified Developer – Mule 4
- MuleSoft Technical Lead or Platform Architect certification
- Experience with API Manager (security, throttling, logging)
- Experience publishing APIs in Anypoint Exchange
- Familiarity with ARB/CAB processes and enterprise governance
- Experience in large-scale enterprise integration environments
- Experience mentoring or leading development teams

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $100.00 and $115.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
