People Analytics / HR Data Analyst
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a People Analytics / HR Data Analyst to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri.
Duties:
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into clear functional requirements
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to interpret results and communicate insights effectively
- Design and document technical solutions, including data models, data flows, and reporting specifications
- Develop, enhance, and maintain self-service dashboards and reports, primarily Tableau
- Test, validate, and document deliverables to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Maintain people data quality rules, definitions, and strategy
- Apply best-practice compliance and governance standards when working with sensitive HR data
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 5+ years in people analytics, HR analytics, or a similar data-focused role
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets such as: Snowflake and Oracle
- Knowledge of complex data models and dimensional modeling techniques
- Experience converting raw system data into analytics-ready datasets using dbt or similar tools
- Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects, handle confidential information, and exercise discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Python
- Experience with UKG/iCIMS

The approximate pay range for this position is between $62,000 and $79,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
